I help everyday people create beautiful, meaningful handmade cards in a way that feels simple, relaxed, and never overwhelming.

I’m the heart behind Birdsnest Designs, a cozy, creative space where making something with your hands is about so much more than the finished project.

I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator since November 2010, and what started as a love of paper crafting has grown into something I never could have imagined.

No matter where you are in your crafting journey, you’re welcome here.

Whether you’re brand new or have been crafting for years, my goal is simple. I want you to feel confident, inspired, and excited to sit down and create.

Inside my tutorials, classes, and videos, you’ll find:

  • Creative ways to use what you already have
  • A relaxed, no-pressure approach to crafting

Because I truly believe this should feel fun, not frustrating.

How this all grew into Birdsnest Designs

I’ve been part of the Stampin’ Up! community for over a decade, and if there’s one thing it has given me more than anything else, it’s community.

Through this journey, I’ve met incredible people, both fellow demonstrators and amazing customers, who have become real friends. The kind you laugh with, create with, and share life with.

It all started with a simple yes. Saying yes to trying something new, showing up to events, and stepping into rooms where I didn’t know many people yet.

I had no idea at the time just how much this creative journey, and the people in it, would shape me.

This was my very first Stampin’ Up! convention in 2012… and I had no idea at the time what an amazing journey lay ahead of me!
Twelve years later in Houston, surrounded by friends, still creating, still laughing… and so grateful for the journey that brought us here.

Over the years, it has given me the confidence to share what I love and the courage to step into teaching, encouraging others, and creating spaces where people feel welcome and supported.

Along the way, I have:

  • Taught countless classes and workshops
  • Helped others build confidence in their creativity
  • Created a space where people feel welcome, supported, and inspired

And that’s what I continue to build here at Birdsnest Designs every single day.

A place where you can slow down, create something meaningful, and feel part of something bigger.

A Little More About Me

I’m a small-town, work-from-home, coffee-loving creative who is happiest in my craft room or out in my garden when the weather cooperates.

I’m married to my best friend, a proud mom of two amazing young men, and a soon-to-be grandma, which still feels a little surreal and very exciting.

Our home is shared with two dogs and two cats who love to “help” in the craft room.

When I’m not creating, you’ll often find me reading a good book, working on a jigsaw puzzle, crocheting, or enjoying a cozy movie night.

I love quiet moments, time with friends, and anything that brings people together.
